Team OSX Wins the 100on100 The Heart of Vermont 100 mile relay race

Team OSX went to Vermont hoping to place in the top 5 of this 100 mile 6 man relay race on Route 100 in the beautiful state of Vermont on Saturday August 18th. Team OSX enlisted some of the best male runners the State of Delaware has seen in a very long time. The team was led by former University of Delaware standouts Zach Chupa, John Brannon and Marc Washington along with local standouts Steve Lafferty, Whitney Osterud and Shane Trimble.

Team OSX won the race in 9 hours 48 minutes averaging 6 minutes per mile throughout the100 mile relay. The team also set a new course record with their win smashing the old course record by 1 hour and 4 minutes. A very impressive win for their first time out. The team will be back next year to defend their title. We are also hoping to take up a womens team and a mixed team and possibly a high school team.

This was a great performance from the entire OSX Team and support staff. Every member of the team helped make this win possible. OSX Fitness has arrived and we are not stopping here. Stay tuned for new articles, pictures and interviews all this week on www.myspace.com/osxfitness and on www.osxfitness.com.

This was very big for Team OSX and OSXFitness.com. We feel that this win has put us on the map and strengthened our reputation in the sports and training industry. We have some great runners and tri-athletes currently with OSXFitness and we are growing everyday. Please continue to support OSXFitness.com and our athletes because we really appreciate it.
We would also like to thank everyone who read our blog during the race. We had a ton of views and would to thank everyone for your support and well wishes. The team really appreciated it.
Yes, there were some technical problems. We lost cell phone coverage from 3 different carriers while up in the mountains but everyone stuck by us the entire way. Thank You so much.......Keep checking back this week for new stuff about the team and some surprises coming soon.....
